Bulk packaging is an overlooked lever in supply-chain sustainability. Consolidating many small bags into one FIBC, or many drums into one flexitank, removes enormous amounts of secondary packaging and the waste that comes with it.
The numbers that matter
A single 1-tonne FIBC replaces around 40 woven PP sacks and their stitching, labels and pallet wrap. At fleet scale that is tonnes of plastic and cardboard avoided every month, plus fewer truck movements per tonne shipped.
What we do at PandaFIBC
- Produce from virgin, fully recyclable polypropylene.
- Offer take-back guidance and recycling pathways for used bags.
- Optimise bag weight to the minimum safe specification, cutting material per load.
- Run a 50,000 sqm facility with ISO 14001 environmental management.
A practical first step
Audit one product line: count the small packages you ship today and model the saving from switching to bulk. Most clients recover the changeover cost within a single quarter.
